 | DRAGON SKIN CUE |

This is a new process I developed from an idea that a Japanese potter
friend of mine gave to me in Kyoto,Japan. He called it "DORAGON SUKIN" (dragon skin).
This process is thousands of years old and shows up in Sumari sword handles and high end Japanese pottery and lacquered wood items. The process is a hybrid of Notan, Urushi, Taka maki-e and Gilding.
The process is complicated and, by virtue of its complexity, no two handles will ever be the same.
This handle is made from copper foil, pounded very thin, with a white (Dragon bone), red and blue (fresh and old Dragon blood) background (actually Japan paints).
We can also offer gold, silver and Dutch metal, with or without patina. This example has no patina (chemical coloration) on it. To see a sample of Silver/Copper Dragon Skin go to Cues for sale, Cue 12-08.
The cue itself is a full splice purple heart and ebony with a G-10 pin. The ebony runs all the way thru the ebony butt sleeve.
